13 November 2020

Lluc Ibanez topped the charts this morning after the opening practice of the GT4 European Series at Circuit Paul Ricard.

The NM Racing Team Mercedes-AMG driver set the fastest time 35 minutes into the one-hour session that kicked off this weekend’s action in France.

Thijmen Nabuurs was second fastest in the #17 V8 Racing Chevrolet Camaro, with Pro-Am points leader Bastian Buus taking third place overall. The Allied Racing driver was also the fastest driver in his class.

Antoine Potty found himself in fourth place. The #66 CMR Toyota had initially been scored as first, but had its fastest lap time deleted for disrespecting track limits. Teammate Gael Castelli was fifth fastest, ahed of Allied Racing’s Jörg Viebahn and Silver Cup leader Valentin Hasse-Clot’s AGS Events Aston Martin.

At 14:55 this afternoon the 19 teams will be back on track for the second practice session, with qualifying for the two races taking place at 19:40. Live timing is available at
