Following a strong performance in the first free practice session for the GT4 European Series round at Spa, Bastian Buus continued to lead the way in the second practice session.
The #22 Allied Racing Porsche posted a fastest lap of 2m33.349 on his fourth lap around the seven kilometre Belgian track, beating Duncan Huisman in the V8 Racing Chevrolet Camaro by just a tenth of a second.
Xavier Lloveras was third in the #15 NM Racing Team Mercedes-AMG, ahead of the second Allied Racing Porsche of Nicolaj Mølller-Madsen.
Silver Cup points leader Valentin Hasse-Clot put the #27 AGS Events Aston Martin in fifth place overall, with Antoine Potty (CMR), Cem Bölükbasi (Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport) and Stéphane Lémeret (CMR) completing the top eight.
Fastest in the Am class was series newcomer Andreas Mayrl in the #76 Autorlando Sport Porsche. Nicolas Gomar (AGS Events) was second in class, ahead of Ibrahim Okyay (Borusan).
The session finished five minutes earlier than scheduled, as rain hit the Belgian track and most teams opted to return to the pit lane, rather than risking their car as darkness fell.
