Møller Madsen fastest again in second practice at Zolder

Nicolaj Møller Madsen finished the first day of the 2018 GT4 European Series on top, after topping the timesheet again in Free Practice 2 at Zolder. Møller Madsen’s fastest time in the second session of the day was a 1:39.238.
The Phoenix Racing driver set his fastest lap just ten minutes from the end, beating RN Vision STS driver Gabriele Piana by just 0.076 seconds. Stuart Middleton put the #55 HHC Motorsport Ginetta G55 GT4 in third place, with Reinhard Kofler completing a Silver overall top four in his True Racing KTM X-Bow GT4.
Fastest Pro-AM was Belgian driver Jamie Vandenbalck in the 3Y Technology BMW M4 GT4. Vandenbalck’s fastest time stood for a long time, but eventually the four other drivers went quicker. Markus Lungstrass finished the practice session in sixth overall and second in class, with Hendrik Still claiming third in Pro-AM in the #43 Allied Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 CS MR.
French team CMR led the way again in AM with its #26 Ginetta G55 GT4. David Loger was over half a second faster than Nicolas Schöll in the #42 Allied Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 CS MR and seven tenths faster than Nicolas van Dierendonck in the #30 Selleslagh Racing Team Mercedes-AMG GT4.
The GT4 European Series will continue tomorrow, with qualifying set to take place at 10.20 a.m.
