Reiter Engineering plans four-car full-season entry
5 January 2018
Reiter Engineering is set to return to the GT4 European Series for the third consecutive year. The German racing team, which ran eight cars as part of the Reiter Young Stars cup in 2016 and 2017, plans to run four KTM X-Bow GT4 cars in the series this season.
In recent years Reiter drivers did well in GT4, with Lennart Marioneck finishing third in the Silver Cup of GT4 European Series Northern Cup last season and Mads Siljehaug and Maciej Dreszer taking second overall in the series in 2016.
“These successes are even more valuable due to the fact that in both cases our drivers did not participate in all rounds of the championship,” said Reiter Engineering’s Tomas Enge.
“Therefore i'm sure that we can be very successful in the upcoming season of the GT4 European Series where we will participate in all races with a lot of knowledge and experience which we have gained in previous years.”
Reiter Engineering also plans to enter four cars in the new GT4 Central European Cup. "The biggest advantage is that the greater majority of the calendar visits circuits within reasonable distance of the Reiter Engineering home base located in Kirchanschöring,” Hans Reiter said.
